Vertical auxillary engine made by St Botolphs Engineering Works, Colchester.
2½" bore, 2½" stroke. Cast iron cylinder supported
on 4 turned columns. An attractive robust engine ideal for conversion to
a launch engine, fitted with Scavage (vacuum) pump, complete with most original
brass oil cups and feed pipes. Runs very well (tested on air). 750mm H,
600mm W, 390mm D, weight 61kgs. |

(possibly). a substantial engine of classic lines. 2 cast iron cylinders
suspended on cast Naysmith style columns. 3" (approx) Bore, 4"
Stroke. The engine as presently built is non reversing (could be added)
and is double high. It has run on air and runs very well @ 40 psi. H 690mm,
W 670mm, D340mm, weight 70kg. |
